Besides getting a chance to see The Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock sit down and talk with the final three guys on The Bachelorette 2013, the After The Final Rose special on The Bachelorette Season 9 also gave us a chance to find out who is the next Bachelor for Season 18. Bachelorette host Chris Harrison hinted at it all hour, but he finally shared The Bachelor 2014 spoilers at the end and introduced Juan Pablo as The Bachelor 2014 and the audience screamed in excitement.
We all know that ABC likes to recycle old contestants on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette and Bachelor Nation seems to be okay with that. This pick seems to baffle me. Not that I don’t think that Juan Pablo will make a great Bachelor, but it just seems odd because Juan Pablo didn’t make it that far into the season and while he was on The Bachelorette 2013 he did not get that much camera time.
However, the camera time he did get earned him many fans and people loved his story. I was not a huge fan of his (except for that accent) during the season, but I fell in love with him during the Men Tell All Special. He has an amazing personality and a great sense of humor. He has a love for his daughter and I think ABC will be playing that one up big time for The Bachelor Season 18.
The announcement was made last night and how many applications do you think ABC received over night to be on The Bachelor 2014??? The new season starts in January 2014!
